Project Vote 263 (PV263) Project Vote 263 is a leading national, non-partisan and non-profit youth led organization formed as an initiative to foster and promote inclusive youth participation, good governance, multiparty democracy and constitutionalism through mobilizing young people to register to vote, conducting civic and voter education as well as advocating for electoral reforms and capacitating young people to run for public office.
To create a political society that is characterized by an informed and organised citizenry which accurately represent the diversity of the Zimbabwean population and to be the leading voice on democracy, governance and constitutionalism
To foster and promote inclusive participation, multiparty democracy, good governance and constitutionalism through mobilizing people to register to vote, conducting civic and voter education, advocating for electoral reforms and capacitating young people to run for public office.
Democracy – To enhance and promote multiparty democracy.
Inclusive Participation – To foster and promote inclusive participation of young people, women and people with disabilities in politics and governance issues.
Good Governance – To foster and promote ethical, responsive and responsible leadership.
Constitutionalism – To enhance knowledge and protection of the constitution of Zimbabwe.
Project Vote 263 is based on the belief that these values are universal and that their origin cannot be claimed by any culture or society. PV263 further acknowledges the commitment and diversity of young people, women and people with disability in Zimbabwe, their commitment to national development and sustainable inclusion. The organization also recognizes the role of youth, women and people with disability and the need for inclusion in all aspects of the political- economy.
