How to Track Voter Registration Status
How to Track Voter Registration Status

It is important to note that the Bio-metric voter registration (BVR) system is polling station based. This means that one can only vote at a specific polling station that has been assigned to them by ZEC thus one needs to know his/her polling station and where it is located before polling day. If not satisfied with your current polling, you will need to approach ZEC offices before the closure of the voters roll for elections and request a transfer.

To check your registration status and polling station:

  1. Visit your nearest ZEC office.
  2. Dial *265# on *Econet or Netone mobile phones. You will be asked to enter your details (starting with your Surname followed by your National Identity Card Number) and afterwards get a confirmation message that gives your registration details. The confirmation message will also include your polling station.

You can also check your registration status on this link or just type the address: http://bvrinspection.zec.org.zw:4328/zecvr2/. When the page opens, you put your surname first and then you put your National ID or the serial number you were given when you registered for the BVR (Biometric Voter Registration) then hit enter, and you see for yourself if you are registered to vote.
